Daniel Negreanu has claimed that he does not look forward to the last few months of the year because his schedule is so busy. "I hate it. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, but the schedule is so jammed that I don't have a lot of options," he remarked.

In an article for Full Contact Poker, the Canadian said that the months of September and October are always particularly bad, with his calendar so full that he may have to go six weeks without one of his favourite pastimes - golf.

Kid Poker said that he will be playing "as much golf as possible" over the next seven days in order to make up for it.

Readers of Negreanu's blog may have noticed in recent weeks a high number of posts about golf.

It is one of the 34-year-olds great passions and led to his participation in the World Series of Golf tournament - which merges the sport with poker-style betting - earlier this year.
